Katie Holmes breaks up with "disrespectful" Jamie Foxx after 6 years of dating

Katie Holmes and Jamie Foxx – one of Hollywood’s most private couples – have called it quits, after six years together.

When the news was first announced, nobody knew the exact reasons for the split… until now!
According to multiple sources, Katie, 40, and Jamie, 51, were in two very different places in the relationship. Katie Holmes reportedly wanted commitment, alongside a quiet life of working and raising her daughter Suri.
Jamie Foxx, on the other hand, allegedly didn’t want to end his partying lifestyle, and wanted to keep things more casual. A little too casual if we are to believe some of the rumors…
“It has been many years of him stepping out with other women,” a source close to the couple spilled to US Weekly.
“He’s disrespectful and their lives were different. His partying ways don’t fit with hers as she’s focused on raising her daughter and working.”
Katie Holmes and Jamie Foxx may have been one of the most secretive couples in Hollywood. They were rarely spotted out together, rarely spoke about each other, and as a whole, kept their relationship under wraps.
Back in April this year, a source confirmed to US Weekly that the low key couple still had no plans to walk down the aisle…
“Katie and Jamie live a very private lifestyle and intend to keep it that way,” the source said at the time.
“They don’t plan on getting engaged anytime soon because they’re happy with how things are right now.”
We have no idea if their relationship will get back on track, but it looks like Jamie Foxx has already moved on. He has been spotted getting cozy with singer Sela Vave, who interestingly has been sharing pictures of him on her Instagram from as far back as June 30. Had he and Katie already broken up by then? Who can say…
Although they have no children together, which is always a relief when things go south, the separation must have some effect on the children they have with previous partners.
Katie Holmes shares 13-year-old daughter Suri with Tom Cruise. Jamie Foxx has two children, 25-year-old daughter Corinne with ex Connie Kline, and 10-year-old daughter Annalise Bishop with ex Kristin Grannis.
