Interracial Marriage
Cera & Julian -
Mombasa, Coast, Kenya
Married January 2015
From Non-Members to Married in a Matter of Days
Now that she’s married to Julian, Cera has advice to impart to seekers of love everywhere, especially the guys. “Men, don’t talk about sex,” she begins. “Don’t send naked pictures! Work on the trust and winning her heart. Never lie, ever, not even a white lie. It only leaves your partner to ask questions and doubt you. Honesty always, from day one!”
From the day she posted her profile on our site, Cera knew just what she wanted: a long-term commitment. “I wanted a husband and a man who was not just after sex,” she tells us.
Julian’s goals aligned with hers. “I wanted a family and a good honest wife,” he says.
Not even ONE DAY into Julian’s membership on our site, and 2-3 days into Cera’s, these two crossed paths. Cera reached out to Julian because in his profile he came across as “Loving, kind, genuine.” He responded to the “honesty” he saw in her online write-up. But there was a problem… A big one. “Distance,” declares Julian. “I lived in the U.K. and she was in Kenya.”
It didn’t stop them from connecting online. This was the very definition of a whirlwind romance. “He proposed after four days on the phone,” laughs Cera. Before too long they were meeting in person. But that’s not all… “I flew to Mombasa, Africa to meet her and we were married four days later,” Julian marvels, still a bit stunned himself.
After disembarking from the plane, his first thought upon laying eyes on her was “how beautiful she is!” Seeing Julian for the first time, Cera was struck by “how young he looked.” Both say they were surprised by how the two of them “just clicked” right from the get-go.
Now that they’re hitched, Cera and Julian couldn’t be happier. “She’s just caring, wonderful and perfect!” gushes the groom. Cera echoes the sentiment.
Sometimes, when it’s meant to be, it happens in a hurry! That’s certainly the case in the story of Cera and Julian.
